One of the flagship solar system installations of Sun Ray was that of setting up of 280KW solar energy system to one of the corporate giants George Steuart Health (Pvt) Ltd at their warehouse premises at Mount Lavinia.
Sun Ray got involved in the total solution in designing, procurement, installation, commissioning and maintenance of the system which has assisted the company to offset its electricity consumption whilst earning an additional income in the process.
Sun Ray became the first solar EPC company in the country to engage in setting up of a 75KW mini ground mounted solar project initiated by Ceylon Electricity Board on build, own and operate basis.
The role played by Sun Ray Energy on behalf of the client was to facilitate in preparation of proposal for submission for the tender, setting up and commissioning of the ground mounted solar system situated at Welgama in Matara District.
